In this course, practitioners will identify the historical and current barriers that the BIPOC population faces to access East Asian Medicine. Through an understanding of historical and current barriers, practitioners will be able to synthesize solutions to create better access to care for the BIPOC communities.
By the conclusion of this webinar, participants will:
- Be able to identify how history has shaped medical racism;
- Gain insight on the clinical manifestations of inability of BIPOC access to care;
- Be able to determine the importance of non-racially injurious care;
- Be able to synthesize solutions to the inability of the BIPOC community to access East Asian medicine as a form of care.
