Having an understanding, and a toolkit, of self care practices readily available is critical for field work doing acupuncture & Chinese medicine. Having these practices on hand, along with an understanding of why they are so important, is essential for providing excellent field services and for protecting practitioners and clients alike. In this class you will learn why self care is so important along with a series of deep, easy to use, and important self care practices based on principles of Chinese medicine, to help you in the field, your life and your private practice as well. You will learn ancient Taoist- based practices, Qigong practices, and practices from ancient indigenous traditions around the world on connecting with plants. You will also be introduced to the energetics of the five elements, including meditations based on the elements, as a way to bathe in the beauty of nature as part of self-care practices.
