DAF Day is a national day of giving with donor advised funds. A DAF is a charitable savings account (like a 401k for giving). It’s already a powerful tool for any donor to accelerate their giving, but it has even greater potential when we all DAF together.

GIVING THROUGH DONOR ADVISED FUNDS
A donor advised fund (DAF) is one of the simplest and most flexible ways to support the causes you care about. Think of it as a charitable savings account: you contribute money, stocks, or other assets, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants to nonprofits like Acupuncturists Without Borders whenever you're ready.
Why give through a DAF?
A DAF lets you separate the timing of your tax deduction from the timing of your giving. You can contribute in a year when it makes sense financially, then take your time deciding which organizations to support. It's a way to be both strategic and generous.
Giving through a DAF also comes with real advantages. You can donate appreciated assets like stock and often avoid capital gains tax, which means more of your gift goes to the work. Your contributions can grow tax-free while they wait to be granted. And because the sponsoring organization handles the recordkeeping, you get one consolidated tax receipt instead of tracking every individual gift.
How it works
Recommending a grant to us takes just a few minutes. Click the link below and follow the steps to log in to your DAF provider (such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or your community foundation), search for Acupuncturists Without Borders, and recommend a grant. Your provider handles the rest and sends the funds directly to us.
